Position: Technical Assistant (TA)
Location: Mwanza, Tanzania | Reports To: Managing Director
A leading mining support services company is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender & Proposal Support: Review enquiries, draft proposals and reports
- Technical Coordination: Consolidate inputs from engineers, specialists, and suppliers
- Project Tracking: Monitor milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and support executive meetings/site assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Experience in technical coordination, proposals, or project support (recent graduates with strong computer skills are welcome to apply)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of costing, procurement, and tender submissions
- Strong English and Swahili communication skills
- Valid Tanzania driver’s license
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and initiative
